Gas range burner problems in our coffee shop – repair recs?
One of the burners on our commercial gas range keeps going out or burning unevenly. Pilot lights fine, but flame is weak/yellow on that side. Cleaned orifices already, no change. Worried it's something internal like regulator or valve issue. Anyone running a food business in Seattle had this fixed recently without insane costs? Need a repair service that knows commercial gas appliances and does good work.

Yellow/weak flame on commercial ranges is often dirty or partially clogged burners, but since you cleaned them it's likely the gas valve, pressure regulator, or even a thermocouple issue on that burner assembly. Had the same on our Vulcan range at the shop – tried DIY, made it worse. Brought in a tech who does mostly commercial kitchen gear. He tested gas pressure, found the valve was sticking, replaced it and adjusted everything properly. No gas smell after, burns blue and strong now. Cost was about $380 including parts. Found them through this page a colleague mentioned: https://911seattleappliancerepair.com/commercial-appliance-repair/ They cover Seattle area, do ovens, ranges, fryers etc., and seem experienced with restaurant equipment. Way better than waiting days for big company service. Definitely recommend getting them to check it before it affects your whole kitchen flow.
