MEAP covers propane as delivered fuel; my parents in Allegany County got 300 gallons last winter. Submit tank gauge photo, vendor invoice, and income. The site has a propane worksheet: https://www.utilityassistance.org/md/ – choose “delivered fuel.” Payment direct to supplier; some co-ops offer bulk pricing. Apply in July for best rates—rural allocations are smaller.
